CORE ENHANCEMENT LOGIC

Enhancing in Melissia Games is built on two massive advantages: a x10 Base Success Rate and an accelerated Anvil (Pity) System. To enhance efficiently, you must adapt your strategy based on the gear tier:

Early Game (Naru/Tuvala/Boss): Brute-force your upgrades. The x10 base chance carries you. Save your Failstacks (FS) and Cron Stones.
Mid Game (Blackstar/Deboreka): Balance is key. Use moderate Failstacks and start using Crons to protect high-value items from degrading or shattering.
Endgame (Sovereign/Slumbering Origin/Kharazad): The Anvil System becomes your primary progression path. High Failstacks only offer a minimal success boost. Expect to fail. Your actual objective is to use Cron Stones to prevent gear downgrades while safely maxing out your Anvil meter for a 100% guaranteed upgrade.

NARU & TUVALA GEAR

Do not waste Failstacks or Cron Stones on these. Thanks to the x10 base success rate, you can easily brute-force both gear types all the way to PEN (V) just by tapping repeatedly.

YELLOW GRADE (BOSS) GEAR

To TRI (III): 0 FS | No Crons
To TET (IV): 20–30 FS | No Crons (Rely entirely on Failstacks)
To PEN (V): 30–40 FS | No Crons (Rely entirely on Failstacks)

Tip: Because the required Cron amount is very low, you can technically use them, but it is highly recommended to save them and just use pure Failstacks.

DEBOREKA ACCESSORIES

To PRI (I): 0 FS | No Crons
To DUO (II): 0 FS | No Crons
To TRI (III): 0 FS | No Valks' Cry | No Crons
To TET (IV): 100–200 FS | Use Valks' Cry
- Cron Usage: Yes (Highly recommended, especially if using a lower FS like 60–70). If using a 100+ FS, you can risk it without Crons, but using them is universally advised to prevent item destruction.
To PEN (V): 200–300 FS | Use Valks' Cry | Use Crons

BLACKSTAR WEAPONS

To PRI (I): 0 FS | No Crons
To DUO (II): 10–20 FS | No Crons
To TRI (III): 70–80 FS | Use Crons
To TET (IV): 80–110 FS | Use Crons
To PEN (V): 110–160 FS | Use Crons

⚠️ CRITICAL MECHANIC: THE ANVIL SYSTEM

For all gear listed below, filling the Anvil meter is the definitive foundation of the enhancement system. Despite hitting the recommended Failstacks, your enhancement attempts will frequently fail. At these tiers, Failstacks only provide a minimal bump to your success rate. While these numbers represent the optimal setup, Melissia Games’ x10 Base Chance and Anvil Boost are designed to make the pity system your primary win condition.

Your strategy: Spam attempts, always use Crons to prevent drops, and let the Anvil fill up.

SOVEREIGN WEAPONS

To PRI (I): 0 FS | No Crons (Optional if you want to be ultra-safe)
To DUO (II): 0 or 10–15 FS | No Crons
To TRI (III): 50–60 FS | Valks' Cry: Optional | Use Crons
To TET (IV): 70–80 FS | Valks' Cry: Optional | Use Crons
To PEN (V): 100–120 FS | Use Valks' Cry | Use Crons

KHARAZAD ACCESSORIES

You do not enhance these from scratch. You obtain them directly at NOV (IX) via an exchange quest. Hand over a PEN (V) Deboreka Accessory to the NPC Clorince in Velia (located to the right of the stable).

Pre-requisites for the exchange quest:

Open the Quest window (O) and ensure "All" quest types are toggled on at the bottom.
The PEN Deboreka must be in your inventory (unequipped).
The PEN Deboreka must be completely clean (No cups/reform stones applied).

SLUMBERING ORIGIN ARMOR

(Dahn's Gloves / Ator's Shoes / Fallen God's Armor / Labreska's Helmet)

To DESPERATE: 0 FS | No Valks' Cry | No Crons
To DISTORTED: 100–120 FS | Use Valks' Cry | Crons: Optional
To SILENT: 160–180 FS | Use Valks' Cry | Use Crons
To WAILING: 200–250 FS | Use Valks' Cry | Use Crons
To OBLITERATING: 300+ FS | Use Valks' Cry | Use Crons

HOW TO GET FAILSTACKS / FS?

To get FAILSTACKS (FS) Run LOML bosses for bulk 30–40 stacks. For higher FS, farm Elvia Hexe and exchange 50 Crystallized Despairs for a +100 FS. To push those stacks further, use Origins of Dark Hunger farmed from Darkseeker's Retreat (DSR) to hit 300 FS.
