Training and Horse

This guide covers everything a new or returning player needs to know, from crafting the best-in-slot wagon to min-maxing your Mount EXP.

1. The Core of Horse Training: The Forest Path Wagon

For serious horse trainers, the Forest Path Wagon is strictly mandatory. Unlike standard wagons, the Forest Path Wagon features a repairable durability system (meaning it is not disposable) and possesses a unique skill called Forest Rush, which acts similarly to a ship's Breezy Sail or a horse's Sprint, allowing for incredibly fast movement and drastically increasing experience yields over time.

How to Craft the Forest Path Wagon

Crafting this wagon is a long-term goal that typically takes 1 to 1.5 weeks due to the mass production of materials.

  1. Obtain Merindora's Element:

    • Travel to Grana and speak to the NPC Merindora (the highest spirit/priestess in the city).
    • She offers a repeatable quest that requires you to hand over a specific high-quality meal (easily purchased from the Central Market).
    • In exchange, she rewards you with Merindora's Element.
    • Additionally Merindo also offers direct exchanges for Merindora's Element for Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, Mediah and Valencia Meals x10.

  2. Crafting the "Piece of Image":

    • Open the Processing window (L) and select Simple Alchemy.
    • Combine Merindora's Element, Weeds, and Trace of Nature.
    • This process yields a Piece of Image. You will need exactly 4,000 of these to build the wagon.

  3. Setting up the Workshop and Workers:

    • Invest Contribution Points (CP) into a Level 4 Wagon Workshop (located in Grana 4).
    • Because crafting the wagon requires thousands of individual workload tasks, you must connect your worker empire nodes from cities across the map (such as Trent, Keplan, Calpheon, Heidel, Glish, and Old Dandelion) directly to Grana.
    • Send all available workers to the workshop to finish the production quickly. Soft wood and other standard base materials required for the blueprint can be bought easily from the Central Market or local NPCs.

  4. Crafting the Wagon Gear:

    • After the wagon is built, you will also need its dedicated equipment parts.
    • These are crafted in the same Level 4 Wagon Workshop using additional Pieces of Image and standard materials. If you have extra CP, you can instantly finish these parts using Pearls, avoiding further wait times.

2. Essential Gear and Crystals

Maximizing your training efficiency requires specific gear and heavily optimized crystal setups.

Trainer's Clothes and Riding Crop

  • Trainer's Clothes: Equip Mastery or EXP-based training clothes (e.g., Loggia, Izaro, or Manos Trainer's Clothes) depending on your budget.
  • Riding Crop: You must equip a Riding Crop (e.g., Manos Riding Crop). The crop directly provides a flat increase to Auto-run speed. When paired with the Forest Path Wagon, this increases the wagon's overall movement and Forest Rush speed by an additional 30%, which directly translates to faster Mount EXP.

Life Skill Crystals

With the crystal inventory system, you can stack massive amounts of Life EXP or Life Mastery.

  • Crystals are crafted via Simple Alchemy by combining Forest Crystals (obtained from Land of the Morning Light quests, worker nodes, and hunting), Magical Shards (obtained by heating Black Magic Crystals), and imperfect stones/wood gathered from grinding or life skills.
  • Mastery Setup: Filling your crystal preset with Life Mastery crystals yields up to +160 Training Mastery (+140 on Season servers).
  • EXP Setup: Filling your crystal preset with Life EXP crystals grants up to +80% Life EXP (+60% on Season servers).
  • Pro Tip: Swapping to these optimal crystal setups drops the time it takes to level a horse from several hours down to mere fractions of that time.

3. Artifacts and Lightstones

Do not overlook your Artifact and Lightstone slots.

  • Artifacts: As you train and turn in horses via Imperial Horse Delivery, you have a chance to receive specialized Life Skill Artifacts. Look out for Artifacts that grant Mount EXP or Training Mastery.
  • Lightstone Combination: To create the ultimate training combination, socket the following Lightstones into your artifacts:
    • 2x Training Lightstones
    • 1x Mount Lightstone
    • 1x Iridescent Lightstone
  • Set Bonus: This specific combination yields a set effect granting +15% Mount EXP, +10% Training EXP, and +20 Training Mastery.

4. Buffs: Meals, Elixirs, and Pets

To reach the 1.5-hour Level 30 milestone, your buff bar must be fully optimized.

Essential Consumables

Utilize your Fairy's Continuous Care skill by placing 10-hour buffs into your Family Inventory so she can auto-consume them during long AFK training sessions.

  1. Seafood Cron Meal: The standard baseline meal for all life skill activities. It can be stacked with Stonetail Wind's Meal.
  2. Stonetail Wind's Meal: An exceptionally potent Mount EXP meal. You can buy this from the Central Market, or exchange 40 Imperial Training Delivery Tokens to an Imperial Delivery NPC for one.
  3. Celerity Draught (or Unbridled Draught): Look for the 10-hour draughts that specifically grant +30% Mount and Training EXP. These can also be crafted or upgraded via simple alchemy using training tokens.
  4. Pearl Shop Scrolls: Utilize any Mount EXP scrolls available from the Pearl Shop or event rewards for an extra compounding boost.
  5. Lara's Warm Black Tea: Grants a huge +50% Mount EXP buff.

Pet Configuration

Pets are an often-missed source of passive EXP.

  • You need 4 or 5 Tier 4 Pets that have the Mount EXP skill.
  • A full setup of Tier 4 pets provides a massive +20% Mount EXP boost. This is mathematically equivalent to having an entire extra premium scroll constantly running in the background.

To train at maximum efficiency, create a Season Character, equip them with your Account-bound training gear, artifacts, crystals, and buffs, and run your Forest Path Wagon exclusively on the Season Server. Remember Season Server is available only for 30 days

Conclusion
