PEN BOSS GEAR, DARK RIFT and DEBO REKA PREPARATION

1.1 BOSS GEAR SET

The Boss gear set consists of following items:

  • Giath's & Griffon's Helmet.,
  • Dim Tree Spirit's & Red Nose's Armor.,
  • Bheg's Gloves.,
  • Muskan's & Urugon's Shoes.,

You can obtain boss gear through World Boss drops, Central Market or Jetina guaranteed PEN Boss Gear. While grinding, make sure to complete your daily Dark Rift bosses in order to build toward Deboreka accessories.

1.2 DEC TUVALA GEAR (OPTIONAL)

As an optional step, you can also obtain DEC Tuvala gear through a quest provided by Jetina. You can choose 1 PEN Tuvala weapon and 1 PEN Tuvala accessory, obtained from the Season Servers, to enhance up to DEC (X) enhancement level.

  • Once you reach DEC enhancement, you can swap the weapon for a PEN Blackstar Weapon, the armor for a TRI Slumbering Armor, and the accessory for a TET Kharazad Accessory.,
  • The gear cannot be sold on the central market, but the PEN Blackstar can be used to turn into a Sovereign Weapon.,
  • You will obtain a weapon box of your choice (mainhand/awakening/offhand) and can open the box on any character to obtain a weapon for that class.,
  • You can choose which Slumbering Armor you would like to obtain when exchanging your Tuvala Armor (Silent Labreska’s Helmet, Silent Fallen God’s Armor, Silent Dahn’s Gloves, Silent Ator’s Shoes).,
  • You can choose which accessory you would like to obtain when exchanging your Tuvala Accessory. Eg. DEC Tuvala Necklace can be exchanged for a TET Kharazad Belt.,

NOTE: DEC Tuvala armor enhancement is not available in the current patch. DEC Tuvala gear can only be obtained once per account, and the exchange can only be completed once per account. To get started, you will need a character that has graduated from Season and has a Seasonal Graduation Cap in their inventory.

1.3 JETINA PEN ACCESSORY (OPTIONAL)

Another alternative progression path is obtaining a free PEN Accessory through Jetina quest. All players can obtain up to 2 PEN accessories using this method and it is much much cheaper than trying to create or buy a PEN accessory.

  • You can only create up to TWO Jetina PEN accessories per account.,
  • You can only choose between a PEN Narc Ear Earring, Tungrad Earring, or Ring of Crescent Guardian.,
  • The Jetina PEN accessories cannot be sold on the market.,
  • You will need to have a character that is level 56+.,
  • This method takes preparation, requires a lot of materials, and at least 8 billion raw silver to buy certain materials.,

Go to NPC Jetina in Velia and she will give you a quest called “Old Moon Guild’s Trade Offer”.

  • The quest can be found in your quest log (O) under the “Suggested” tab > “[Combat][Lv. 56] PEN (V) Gear – The Old Moon’s Best Deal”.,

1.4 DEBOREKA ACCESSORIES

Your long-term accessory goal is the Deboreka set (Necklace, Belt, Earring & Ring), which will later be converted into Kharazad accessories. However, since you are still at the beginning of your progression, you should focus on obtaining them through Dark Rifts and save it to enhance later.

1.5 YELLOW GRADE ACCESSORIES

While grinding, make sure to save all yellow grade accessories to converted into Essence of Dawn. Essence of Dawn will be crucial for upgrading your Kharazad accessories later in the game.

After finishing your PEN Boss armor, you will focus on converting your gear to the best-in-slot version, known as the “Ancient gear set.” In addition, you will also begin investing in your Deboreka accessories.
