Leveling: Arsha Elvia Bloody Monastery (Crimson Bell Loop)
The Bloody Monastery within the Elvia Realm offers a highly active, loop-based grinding method utilizing Crimson Bells. This approach is ideal for players who prefer continuous combat without loading screens and are comfortable with potential open-world PvP engagements. It can be executed solo or efficiently within a party.
Pet Optimization and Preparation
While strictly optional, optimizing your pet setup drastically increases the efficiency of this method. We highly recommend utilizing pets that grant Combat EXP and increase Item Drop Rates. To maintain steady FPS during massive mob spawns, ensure your game is set to the lowest possible graphics settings.
The Crimson Bell Mechanic
Crimson Bells exclusively drop at the Elvia Bloody Monastery and serve as the core engine for your Combat XP generation.
Because they are a rare drop, preparation is key:
- Maximize Item Drop Rate: Ensure your Item Drop Rate is at 300% or higher.
- Adjust Loot Filters: Set your pet loot filter to ONLY ENABLE BLUE GRADE. This prevents your pets from wasting cooldowns on irrelevant trash loot, ensuring they pick up the bells.
- Target Elite Cultists: Focus your initial rotation on Elite Cultists located at the Main, Side, and Low rotations, as they possess a higher drop rate for Crimson Bells.
- Stockpile First: Do not activate your XP buffs immediately. Farm normally until you have secured a baseline inventory of at least 5 Crimson Bells.
Executing the Loop
Once you have your starting bells, activate your Combat EXP buffs.
The objective is to activate between 3 to 12 Crimson Bells simultaneously. This triggers massive waves of spawning mobs. Killing these densely packed waves yields massive EXP and, crucially, drops more Crimson Bells. When balanced correctly, the number of bells dropping will exceed the number you are using, creating an infinite, self-sustaining loop.
Important Party Rules:
- Limits: The number of bells you can safely activate depends entirely on your class AoE and party size. Do not over-activate; if the player who used the bells dies, the waves cease spawning and the bells are permanently lost.
- Loot Settings: Every party member must set their loot filter to blue grade only.
- Pet Management: Players who cannot achieve the 300%+ Item Drop Rate threshold should disable pet looting entirely but keep their pets summoned for passive buffs.
- Designated Looter: Ideally, assign only 1 fully optimized player to collect and activate the Crimson Bells.
- Survival: Party members struggling to survive the mob density can step out of the Elvia Realm and still receive full EXP as long as they remain within party radar range.
- Performance: Allow roughly 30 seconds after a wave clears for enemy corpses to despawn, significantly reducing FPS lag.
Optimal Locations
There are four primary locations within the Bloody Monastery suited for the Crimson Bell loop.
- The 'Tree' Spot: Recommended for maximum performance, as it causes the least amount of client lag.
- The 'Main' Spot: Highly recommended for sustainability. Four Elite Cultists spawn here, drastically increasing the drop rate of replacement Crimson Bells to maintain the loop.
With a properly configured party and zero deaths, expect to average 25-35% Combat XP per hour at Lv. 66+.
